WALK-IN-INTERVIEW
Walk-in-interview will be held on 07.10.2013 at 10.00 A.M at this Institute for the
post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under DST project entitled “Predicting the impact of
climate change on regional and seasonal abundance of major soybean insect pests using
temperature-driven phenology modeling and GIS-based risk mapping approach”. The
responsibilities of JRF include assisting the scientist to look after daily laboratory/ field work
and maintain official files/records related to the project. The duration of the project is for
about three years.

Educational Qualification : M.Sc. in Agricultural Entomology / Entomologywith ASRB–NET qualification
OR
M.Sc. in Zoology with specialization in Entomology / Plant Protection with specialization in Entomologywith CSIR-NET qualification for Lectureship
Salary : Rs.12,000/- p.m + HRA (10%) for first 2 years & Rs.14,000/- p.m + HRA (10%) for 3rd year
Age Limit : Maximum 30 years (Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST & Women and 3 years for OBC candidates)
The above post is purely temporary and is in co-terminus with the project. The place
of work is NIASM, Malegaon, Baramati, Pune (Dist.). No TA/DA will be paid for attending the
interview. The decision of the Director of the Institute will be final and binding in all aspects.
