post of Junior Engineer in this Directorate of Transport, A & N
Administration, Port Blair :-
Name of the Post : Junior Engineer
No. of Vacancy : 01 post (UR)
Classification : Group B (Non Gazetted)
Pay Band & Grade Pay : PB-2 (Rs.9300-34800+Grade Pay Rs. 4200)
Age : Male - 18 – 33 Years
Female- 18 – 38 Years
(Relaxable for Government servants up to 5 years in accordance with the instructions / orders issued by the Central Government) Note: The crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the closing date for applications / Employment Exchange, A&N Islands
Qualification : Essential:
1. Degree in Mechanical/ Automobile Engineering from a recognized institution.
(OR)
2. Diploma in Mechanical/ Automobile Engineering from a recognized institution.
Desirable:
2 years experience in the Automobile / Mechanical field in a workshop. “Should qualify in the written profession test to be conducted by the Administration or any authorized recruitment agency for direct for recruitment.”
